The Solanco Food Bank is located at 14 S. Church St. , Quarryville. All donations should be made at the double doors at the rear of the building. Open one of the double doors and place donations on the shelves to the right. Solanco Meals on Wheels are looking for new clients. They offer ready to eat meals for individuals who identify with a physical disability, identify with an intellectual disability, are living alone and unable to prepare meals independently. Meals are freshly prepared, nutritious and are provided at a low cost. For more information, please call 717-786-3426.
The Solanco Food Bank is asking for the following for the month of May: canned beans (pinto, chick peas, cannelloni- (15 oz.
cans), refried beans (16 oz. cans), SPAM, seafood soup/chowder (cans), diapers (size 5,6,7 and 3T, 4T, 5T), baby wipes, mayonnaise, mustard, Triscuits/Wheat Thins, pasta sides, pudding cups and granola bars.
We also offer supplemental food staples, meat, etc. to anyone in the community on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Folks are asked to register for the event on our webpage or by calling the office at 717-786-4308. Drop Off Times: Mon.-Thurs. 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. and Fri. 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
